Bacon and Speed NYC layin it down at Atco

Northeast Tuner Race at Atco today. Roan got his normal two passes before getting the boot, but still managed a nice 6.40@115mph in the 1/8 on his first pass.
His second pass he missed a shift and went 10.50. The car has a 9.50 in it without question. Shed a 100lbs or so and a 9.30 is in the car! This is an amazing feat for a full weight street car.
Len Bacon is in the finals right now about to take the win in the 10.5 index class. He has been taking down Hondas all day! Here are some pic's from today.

LETS NOT FORGET THE BIG RACE OF THE SUMMER.........

It was a great day, Great to see everyone and great to make clean consistent passes all the while eating up the Honda boys in the 10.50 class
Got to send a more than special thanks to Ernie, I mean he drove 180 miles out of the way to pick up my girdle, woke up at the *** crack of dawn to meet me at my house and helped me button her all up. However he is no longer allowed to park his truck next to mine
As always I got to thank Jim from JPR, helping me getting my diff rebuilt, and listening to all my OCD’ness
I ran my best ever 10.71 and was cutting consistent 1.50x’s all day
Trophy in hand and a check dated for Tuesday make it all worth while

Now to get ready for ISLAND on June 12th!!!
Then SUMMERSLAM, hope the curse of the flyers doesn’t continue

Congrats on the win and having rotary friends like Ernie is what it's all about. Glad you guys had a great day and really happy that you gave it to those Honda crybabies.

You could probably shave a couple thousands from the drag created from those frog eye's.
