Anyone Run H2o? for coolant that is
So in my best and worst night last night I poped off a coolant cap on the dr side of the motor after the burnout and dumped the Evans NPG all over the box. Most tracks dont want anyone who is on full slicks/real race cars running anythign but water, just wondering if anyone actually does. Or just water/waterwetter. or say the hell with it lol
I decided to put h20 in with the evans so i could run, so im draning the motor as I type just wondering if I go back to evans or play by the rules....
My buddies with their drag bikes have to run h20 and they were suprised the track didnt break my ***** about not running h20

I always run straight distilled water with a little water wetter in any track car. Circuit or drag. Only downside is making sure you drain it in the winter to make sure it doesn't freeze.
down under you can use water with corrosion inhibitor, Ie no slippy glycol based coolants.
I run water/inhibitor but this year i was also going to be running just the water wetter combo, as its also track approved , i dont think corrosion is a concern for drag use cars as daily commuting isnt high on the agenda
Not aiming this at anyone , but water buy itself is the best form of heat transfer medium, adding anything else is detrimental to the cooling ability (despite what the packet said) , unless the science behind water "wetter" agents works then water itself is the best form of "coolant" Antifreeze/Antiboil only does one thing, antifreeze as it makes the boil point less than straight water
run a higher pressure coolant system for any of yous who are concerned .
And again this is not aimed at the OP , just me dribbling again
