AIM Dash...

Anyone know where to buy one? I know there was a thread on it in here awhile back but I couldn't find it. Getting my interior redone and thinking this would be a nice present from Santa.

What are my choices. Obviously something more suited for drag racing and not road racing.

I've exchanged a bunch of email with jeff@optimummotorsports.com about AIM stuff. I'm using an AiM MXL Pista dash/data system with GPS.

Well thats a long conversation, based on what you need and what you might need in the future, but might I recommend the Mychron MXL Gold XG log, which is cheaper than the MXL Pista or Strada but is really good bang for the buck in a motorsports application. The Strada is a good one as well, but dont be fooled by the low price of the "street" version, as the race version dashes are more $$.

I no longer carry AIM dashes, although I probably should again, so I am not a source unless I for some reason decide to buy back in. I would recommend Circuit Motorsports, but I am not sure if he is still around.
If you can spring for it, Stack is a very good brand and I carry them and have a ton of experience with the product.
Also, to help you pick- http://aimsports.com/products/mxl-chooser.html

I'm also a dealer. I'm also the one who had them make me a drag race firmware for the pista/pro models. Been using it for the past 5 years.

Thanks for the heads up Allen, but in just purchasing an item, I think I'd be safe.

For our use's I would definitely be running either the Aim or Racepak dashes.
