here is a pic of my clutch, act light weight steel flywheel, sintered disc, and a dual diaphragm pressure plate , for more clamping force . Ram has two different sintered
clutch numbers 5135 for clutch less tranny and a 5195 for a regular tranny . one is a softer grab . I've had this clutch kit for two years and it works very good , I've hit 1.20's on the 60ft with my car , but nothing beats the dual disc systems $$

Good input guy's, there's a few options out there ... this discs would grab better as they build heat that's why is harder to shift like a normal disc , they work fantastic with clutch less trannys , but ram also makes a softer material iron disc for none clutch less set ups .

Thanks very much for the info. I was just curious why you went with a lightweight flywheel?
I'll be running a gforce clutchless transmission with a turboII bell housing. (after speaking with Crispeed he recommended getting the turboII bellhousing vs using the stock FD one that I was about to get)
Right now I have a one week to make a decision on a clutch setup. The Mcloed setup for the rotary is $1800 or so. I am not even sure if I need at 650HP. My main concern is not damaging this tranny. Thank you for posting, at least I know I have a few more options now.
Would I be able to purchase something like you mentioned above this but using the stock FD flywheel? Who made the pressure plate that you are using?
For my setup, what do you think I should go with?

this is a common mistake, make sure that when u purchase your turbo II slave cylinder you order it for a turbo II model. your going to notice the mounting location is in a totally different place vs the N/A one. replace your complete clutch kit and resurface your flywheel. next time after you install your trans back, always make sure the clutch fork has freeplay and is not getting jammed by the pressure plate. also make sure it has play after you install the slave cil. good luck

ive had the same thing happen to my exedy hyper single when i had my evo... $1500 down the drain in one weekend.....

Honestly, just go dual sintered iron disk (Quartermaster/Tilton) and be done with it for good. The only expensive part is getting the flywheel for 7.25" clutches, after that you can source used dual-disk clutches on e-bay for peanuts, and either re-hub the disks or buy a couple new with the right spline for the TII tranny. 
The only reason I think it shifts hard is that it doesn't dis-engage as cleanly as organic discs, any contact between it and the pressure plate/flywheel makes it hold on. There is literally zero slip on the sintered iron. I felt like a 16 year old girl learning to drive stick on my first drive out with it!

I bought it off 13B-RX3, but it is a QM flywheel. The part numbers for the two are:

That flywheel was actually made by a machine shop. They made the flywheel for racing beat when they use to offer the tilton clutch kit. They make them in heavy and light, and for the N/A and TII. And they are not cheap!

I found out the hard way. I bought everything except the flywheel and could never find one, so now I have a pile of parts that I will never use.
