8 sec. quest before the end of 2009

My personal best is 9.47 , 60' at 1.37 ET drag tires 22 pounds boost.
Today I change to Slick tires and look what happend. Hope you guys like it.

Right on, another un tubbed old skule in the drag forum. Very nice launch. So what happened on the rest of that run? Did you let off and change your shorts?

10 sec, left strud mount broke. Now new front suspencion and wheelie bar.

brings back memories of my Rx3 back in the day.....when i hooked up like that...

here is a tip.......if your car goes straight just keep your foot down,had bad experiences
letting off the throttle in mid air,lots of broken parts.

Actually we are building a few cars on different categories , 1 in Kansas running on alcohol rx7, Starlet from Houston 13b turbo and Toyota Corolla 13b turbo stock chassis and stock transmission to hit the 9 sec. from Dallas.

C'mon Rene, you have to use a v8 as a demo.
Nothing beats this run. The full 1/4mile with the wheels in the air with a 3rotor in an RX3. You just can't top that combo and run. Just can't.

Import face off kansas
9.23 at 146Mph
1.35 60ft
and running little rich. Hope i get it ready for the next race 2 weeks Ok. I'll post some pics soon with the new setting "wheelie bars and racing fron end"
