Yeah its a holly 600 blowthru with a BW s475. Im running it on E85 also with an air-water intercooler setup. Pretty sure it went lean and cracked the iron...Im tearing it down as we speak and should have it back together soon.

I am trying to get it ready to make the BOTI event in Las Vegas in Oct. You gonna be there Julio?

So I had a carb guy do the work on it, but he milled the baseplate, made the carb for boost reference. changed to solid floats, he opened the ports made the carb flow more like a 630-640 instead of 600. I also believe he changed the boosters to it too. Im honestly still learning about carbs, Ive always been an efi guy so Im still getting familiar with them. Ive only made a few pulls on the car, not even a full pass yet so I unfortunately dont have much to share yet.
Ive been having a hard time with getting the timing dialed, and playing with the jetting, and still trying to play with spark plug choice.
I can tell ya that at 10 psi really only letting er rip to about 6500 rpm's on the street, the car is an animal and i havent even reved through half of 3rd gear yet. Car is still breaking up at higher rpm so Ive got some dialing to do.

Sounds good , so what can u tell me about the motor what ports, compression,
I'm sure that 1200 gots to pull real hard that's about the lightest shell u can go with. I actually had a 69 1200 but that was a while ago. , I'm now trying to finish the starlet.
I Hope u get all the tuning sorted out. U should post some videos when u get the car running. I'm sure a lot of us would appreciated
Thanks Julio

We almost have the same set up , I'll be running a half bridge , even though I'm way behind. , maybe we can help eachother. At least with the tuning , if nothing goes wrong I should have the motor in soon. But still need a driveshaft and installing all the gauges and redoing the exhaust. , And all the intercooler piping. , well keep us posted on the progress.
Thanks. Julio
