20b engines can crank out over 1000HP it just depends on the setup.

FYI, a 20b project is something much more complex then a 12 sec omni. You must have some great knowledge of rotaries before you tackle something of that nature. The amount of homework you would need is more then just a weeks worth of reading this forum. Work with 13bs for quite a while, then if you have the money try a 20b

thanx see how hard is it to just put in your input with out making fun of the new guy on the bloock what I'm tring to do is the most hp for my $ and still do something new
I can get the kit to use a vw drive train v-vilage can get me a 5 speed rated for 900 hp thats good the kit car is a vw it looks like the porsha 917(lamans car) i just had a tube frame made for the car but at the same time I can gat a kit to mate a mopar 2.5 to a vw 5 speed I have one a stand 450 hp 475 flb (out of the omni) if my car is only 1800 lb that could be faster than my omni that was 250 lb more and a box in shape
what is you all thought what would you do ( the next nightmare is the wiring) :smiley_12

if you want the most hp per $ don't go with rotary anything. it will end up costing you too much money and time. rotaries are for people who want something different and explosive.

haha if you go NA, you could beat the thing forever. Turbos will last too, but require more work. I know I certainly didnt buy one for the "explosive" factor

There's no such thing as a 22b engine. You mean 20b right?

As for dj phly- be careful just because you have knowledge with turbo's on piston engines does not mean you can just use the same setup/knowledge on rotaries. Rotaries are a different breed and are very susceptable to blowing apex seals under the slightest detonation, unlike piston engines that can take way more abuse/detonation.

Your talking about doing a Laser917 with a porsche 914 or 911 tranny in it and then a 20b three rotor. It would be different but it will be expensive. If I had it to do over I would just do a small block V8 linked to a porsche or an Audi tranny. Much easier and waaaayyyy cheaper. There's a guy in Kansas ,I think that will build you a VW style frame with anthing you send him for frt and rear axles.

He says they are 22b and were sold exclusively in cars in Japan. He may be full of it I dunno but I will get the details. Supposed to be 750hp as well.
