Modified
2 rotor - 2000lbs = 80MM Turbo (max)
4G63 - 2250lbs (up to 2.4L) = 76MM turbo (MAX)

Seems about even as last year.

Im liking the "unlimited street" rules, seems a lot of guys can be competitive in that class, looks like we can run 9" rears this year, w/ auto trannys too! not too mention 78mm turbos w/ nitrous and a minimum weight of 2600lbs.....sounds like a nasty combo for a FD, maybe its time to crack open the old piggy bank.

both small & big block V8's in mod,Pro RWD and dragster classes I know this doesn't come as a supprise for some of you racers but how do you guys feel about this? Me personally I think its stupid, even with added weight I think they still have the upper hand. Guess we got no choice since its one body now.

Unless I misunderstood it, it read that it was to be an OEM style bolt in, which I would assume since our cars don't come with a solid rear, we wouldn't be able to run it, no?

Yea, its BS. They wonder why the turnout sucks. Why don't they just hand the trophy's over to the POS Hondas. Amazing. Whats next?! Plus we can only run a 9" tire. Its ridiculous.

Honestly these are not rules. More like handicap guide lines.
The new rules suck for many and that's what we don't need presently with the state the sport is in.
Sometimes I wish it can be like it was in the beginning. They have tried all the other ways why not just go back to what works.
Still hoping everybody best of luck this year. It's going to be very interesting.

Do you know anybody to lobby for any rule changes?

Don't know if did any good, but I emailed the President of Nopi, pleading our case in the Turbo Street class with the rules for the rotary. In perticular the T6 frame turbo rule and 9" tire rule. I doubt it will do any good, but sometimes the squeeky wheel gets the grease!

some people with hondas are saying its not fair we get a 75mm turbo
cause we can make 1000rwhp and dominate, the sad part is NHRA pays attention to these idiots who over hype sh%$t...

At least I can ditch the stock fuel tank and run a fuel cell
I do have to buy a difrent turbo now...I'll be calling Mike for a custom T4/75mm

I don't see them changing the rules in any way, anytime soon. The reason is because they're going to see how it plays out first with the rules how they are set presently, then make adjustments to them later on in the season.
