i got the boot

i got kicked off the track!!!!!!!!! i only improved my 1/8 mile time just a little tonight at irwindale.the crap wagon went 6.396 @ 105.55 with a 1.370 60 foot time in the 1/8.the wheelie bar i built worked very well it let the car hang the wheels a couple of inches for about 30 feet out.i was a little disappointed with the 60 foot.with the wheelie bar,it is letting the tires spin just a hair.i will sacrifice a little of the 60 foot time for safety any day.let us see what happens at California speedway fontana Saturday Sept 5 at the IDRC.

hey guys.
I'm looking to drop a S5 into an RX2. The first thing I wanna do is beef up the suspension. then i'm gonna work on the engine (bov, wastegate. FMIC, etc)
Any views, opinions, advice?

Little update

Went to irwidale tonite.the car went 1.297 sixty foot 6.104 1/8 mile @ 110.56.the car would not let me get over 20pounds of boost.I had found Monday night the BOV was leaking boost pressure.I fixed that problem and I have my25 pound tune up in it.it's 6.10 should be a9.50-9.60 so I can't wait untill they have an event at cal speedway Fontana.nine second pass is just the next time out. Oh I got kicked out again.

I have watched alot of rotary power cars with automatic transmissios from ausie land.it seems that all the automatic cars mph is allways off about 3 to 6+.I have 4.11 gears in the rear end maybe this has something with the mph.oh one more thing this engine is a bone stock block FD.I am using junk spark plugs at 25 pounds of boost.these plugs are $2.75 each.autolite 2626.had the NGK 11.5 these seem to work for junk crap

Congrats Chris, looks like we both ran our personal bests last night.
Sorry, but my Dad did not get a video of your run. He said he never saw you.
Pretty soon you'll be able to charge people 1000 bucks to tune their cars the way you're going.

Ohh ok, I was curious because my half track times are 6.20s @ 116ish and I run 9.7s @ 139. You should be in the mid 9s too. Bring a camera when you take it to the long track.

After my first pass I was told to go to the exibition lane by the time slip lady.I had talked to four track officials and no one asked if I had my comp LIC or chassis CERT.only one said I had to slow the car down to 10.00 to continue running.my second pass the tires spun real bad but the MPH was 134 @ 10.30.the guy that told me to slow it down was on a golf kart all day so he was not watching what I ran.even after my last pass 9.86 no one said anythingif I don't get my comp LIC by the time BOTI comes to Fontana NOV 22 let's see if I get away with again
