Thanks guys.

As for the good driving, that was my friend Dusty driving. He is used to driving civics and since I was in Florida with Dee and the reactive crew, he did me a favor by testing it out for me at the import survival series event at etown. It was the first time down the track in a rear wheel drive vehicle lol, he did great.

Rx7Wee - the motor is street ported.

Lupe - no 2 step yet. Will hook that up this week since I'm gonna go to Virginia for the 2nd NHRA event. The 60ft was a 1.55 or 1.56 but should be in the 1.3 area with the 2 step. (hopefully)

BNA - I made 470 Rear wheel HP (corrected) but that was on low timing. I raised the timing back up to 15degrees (was 12deg on the dyno) but the MPH shows a lot less HP. The next run the blow off valve started leaking really bad so I think we have a boost leak and the car was barely even making the 20psi.

Thanks,

Anthony

Hey Lupe,

Dee did great man, it was a lot of fun. My friends and I got a really good idea what it is like to race at that level.

Dee qualified 2nd with a 7.80 pass, he had to lift 3/4 down the track due to terrible track conditions so we knew the car had a LOT more in it.

In the finals he had a clutch problem over something simple and could not get the car in 3rd gear. It sucks becuase he had the car that won, the lexus , by at least a car and a half the entire track and treed him but when he could not get into 3rd, the lexus passed him.

It was really a blast, you should try to come to one of the NHRA events when everyone is there.

I also got to meet Ken sheepers and Dan Scheckter from rx7.com (jigsawrx7.com) It really was a lot of fun. Dan ran a 10.2 and a 10.3 at the event with his FD.

Dude, good info....... I've got some questions. Isn't dee running a 3 rotor now? What did Ken run?

Do you remember what Dan ran? I know that he was hoping to run bottom 9's this year........

was that the balck FD? if so he should have won in the finals. he raced an STI that got two solo runs to get to the finals. how fair is that?

It allows you hit a switch, push the clutch in, floor the gas thus creating boost. You can leave the live with 15-20psi therefore putting the bitch on the bumper.

Here is an example of what a 2 step looks like, I am trying to find a video for you so you can hear what it sounds like.

When I was in Florida I tried to stand to the right side of Dee's car to take a video, about 1.5 cars back on the right side.

When the 2 step came on I scared the **** out of me, I had to put the camera down and just get out of there.
