i want to upgrade my iginition sytem and was wondering if i should go with msd or another make? i want to upgrade my coils..what else should i get along with that?


right now my setup is as follows, 13b-re, 60-1 turbonetics, 4" down pipe to a 3" exhaust, stock ports, haltech e6x, 850cc primary and 1300cc secondaries, running 12-15psi on the street and 18 on the track. what ya think..

if i replace the stock coils what else do i need to get wit the msd coils?

Don't bother with the coils. There is nothing to be gained here over stock coils. I have the msd 6a on my car and it probably helps at idle as there are fewer pops than with stock set-up.

How many CDI boxes and how many coils are you willing to buy?
If you replace the ignitors, you need at least 3 CDI channels.
