Just curious.

 

Define "racing fuel".

I run 100 octane unleaded (VP 100) for any track driving (which is available at the track).

 

Brand and then the particular fuel mixture from that company. I define "racing fuel" as any gas that has a motor octane rating of 93 or more.

 

Sunoco sells 100 octane here in florida for $5 a gallon, and I think klotz sells up to 118 octane by the 5 gallon container.

 

when i have my boost up, i use a 50:50 mixture of C16 and toluene. I also have water/meth injection for added protection

 

When I was Auto-X ing untuned at 15psi boost I ran 5 gallons Maximal 116 octane in w/ 1/2 tank of 91 octane pump.

Now my race blend is same as my street; one tank 91 octane reduced to about 89 octane with 1 quart premix. 15-17psi boost.

 

I use 87 Octane regular unleaded from the closest gas station that my tow vehicle can easily get in and out of.
