What was the name of the movie where Cory somebody runs a red RX-7 hard.

I've been thinking about putting together a video of just great car chase/race/crash scenes including the RX-7, but I've forgotten the name of that movie.

Here's a list of the movies I'm working on putting together.

Smokey and the Bandit (pt.1 only)
Cannon Ball Run (pt.1 only)
Gumball Rally (Cannon Ball Run rip off but good scenes.)
Bullit (I haven't seen it but EVERYONE tells me it's a must.)
Vanishing Point.
Ronin (Movie sucked but GREAT car chase scenes.)
Charlie Angles the Movie (The race car chase scene.)
Bad Boys (The end w/ Porsche 911 Turbo races the 427 Cobra)
Gone in 60 seconds.
Fast and the Furious.
The Movie I'm looking for above.)
Several Leathel Weapon 4 scenes.

Don't laugh but: Herbie the Love Bug.- had some cool exotics in it.

Something like that...it was a relatively looong chase scene.

I can't help you with the movie you are looking for, sorry, but I was talking with another guy the other day about driving movies, and he swears that the best he has ever seen with stunt driving and chase scenes is The Driver. It is an older movie (1978 I believe) staring Ryan O'Neal,ISABELLE ADJANI, and BRUCE DERN. I have not personally seen the movie yet, but he said it is the best stunt driving he has ever seen in a movie.

Just trying to help the list.

Cool Driving Scenes

How about the scene from MI 2 with the Porsche & Audi TT?
Nice Cliffhanger.

Bullit is Terrific! I just rented it last month. Steve McQueen is the man! He did his own stunts! The best is close to the end.
Dodge Charger vs. Ford Mustang

Fast Getaway II was the film with the red 3G. For all your movie questions go to: www.imdb.com

I also forgot about the chase scene in "Basic Instinct" where Michael Dougles is in a white lotus racing a lady black lotus.

BOING

The movie you are looking for is "Fast Getaway II" (not Fast Getaway).

The ONLY good thing about that movie is the RX-7. It makes me laugh every time I watch it because the RX-7 is being chased by a few police cars and they are all over the place. The RX-7 looks like it's just kinda out on a nice drive, but the police cars behind it are all sliding and skidding to -barely- keep up...

the original gone in 60 seconds is actualy the longest chase in history, as far as i know (about 1 hr.) there is actualy a part where they drive through a mazda dealership with a huge model of a rotor and new rx3's on the show-room floor.

Didn't Jackie Chan make a street racing type movie? I think it was called "Thunderbolt" or something like that. It had a few JDM cars like Skyline and an FTO *Chan's racing team is sponsored by Mitsubishi*

Anyone know the movie I'm talking about? I can't seem to find it anywhere???

Oh junk, this is something I've trying to do for a while. Get all the cool movies with the best chase scenes.
Marvin, for that video you have to get a hold of the original Gone in sixty seconds. The cover reads something like: 93 cars destroyed in a 40 min car chase. And that part in the Mazda dealer was nice. Also that same guy made a movie called Junkman, havent seen it yet but i believe it has some chase scenes there too.
Another great car chase was in "7 UPS" with Roy Schneider(The guy from jaws).
French Connection has somewhat of a car chase also.
Jackie Chan has a movie called "Who am I" which has some decent chase scenes, i believe hes driving a lancer evo followed by the baddies in BMW's.

This sucks, cant think of anything else that hasent been mentioned.
If I remember anything else ill post it.
later.

I think Jackie had two really good car movie flics. One was Who am I with the Lancer and the other was Thunderbolt with nearly every import hot rod. There was also a great chase scene in Jade with Linda Fiorentino and Chazz Palmentari

How about the movie "The Chase" with charlie sheen, thats a pretty long chase scene considering its the movie, good movie, not a good chase scene, but i wanna see gone in 60 seconds the original

"Driven" with Silvester Stallone has a great race scene where they take the F1 cars on the streets of Chicago.

I think the title was "The Italian Job" or something like that. It was from '69 or close to that. Michael Caine starred in it. Very long Mini chase scene.

Also, that Jackie Chan movie "Thunderbolt" was called "Dead Heat" in Japan. At least that's how I know it. Of all the crummy movies (he's made a few) he's made and that have been released over here, it's beyond me why that one wasn't.

Anyone know where I can order Thunderbolt? I can't seem to find it anywhere in any of the Asian video stores around here at all! When I ask them, they look at me and point me to the Jackie Chan section.
