Just wondering what kind of fuel system you guys are running on your 7's.

Currently only have stock carburetors and am planning on getting something better.

Any real world experiences would be much appreciated, i.e. difficulties tuning Webers or ease of use blah blah.

You have any reasons why it is the best way to go?

Not to come off as an *******, but I'm wanting some real world info to base my desicions on. Not opinions. And, if i have accidentally stumbled onto some repost rehash, feel free to hit me with a few URL's. Didn't know Megasquirt was an option so didn't search it...

*goes to search megasquirt*

Edit: BTW, this will be going on a 1984 12A

If you wanted to go mega squirt then you would have to change over to efi. Megasquirt is an open source standalone fuel computer, as far as i know.

Yup its EFI. If you shop around/fab some parts its cheaper than some carb options. I've run it on my 13B, its done 50k miles or so on a ported 12A with no issues along with a number of other rotaries.

couldn't recommend it highly enough.
