My engine is stock other than downpipe and catback. I chased a well driven Evo at a local roadcourse and had no trouble keeping up with or overtaking it. The Evo did look fun to drive though.

Damon, you're probably a better driver than him so it's hard to gauge the car's performance.

Anyhow....
Those dyno numbers seem a bit high for the EVO.
MZM dyno'd a customer EVO and here's one with exhaust only:

Given that the exhaust mod only put down 220 tq and 206 awhp, it could still require tuning since the exhaust changes the boost characteristics.
More important is the 3rd dyno with it tuned.
Very impressive numbers, but it definitely tells me SCC is using a dynojet or they tested a Wednesday EVO.

Both cars have outstanding performance out of the box with factory warranty.

Actually the particular driver in that Evo was the one who taught me the fast way around at that particular track... Much more experience than I.

I dont think its all that impressive. Intake, exhaust, PFC and dyno tuning on a 3rd gen will get you up close to 330rwhp.

All I needed was a catback (Apex GT-spec). My good friend works at a Mitsu. dealership. We went from a roll 4 times from about 45-120+ with the same results each and every time.... I jump about a fender length immediately and stay there until the middle of fourth gear, then I pulled until we shut down.
