I`m thinking of rebuilding my 13bt engine this winter.
I`ve also got a 87 6port engine in pieces.
What if I use the 6port endplates on the engine,
and bridgeport the 5th and 6th port,the ports on the center plate and use the two lower ports on the end plates as primary ports.I will have to make a custom intake manifold that will allow me to only run the ports I will be using as primary ports,and when I step on it,it opens for the rest of the ports.I could also make the 5th/6th port be boost activated.
What do you guys think,would it work?
Will it keep the low down power,since the ports which is bridged is closed until I have like 3/4 of throttle?
And one last thing,how much is the low down power and idle affected when the ex.port is lifted so it alignes the top of the ex.sleeve?
