does anyone know if the wiring harness is the same as the US? i might be buying a rolling shell and probally buying a JDM 13B TT, wondering what exactly has to be done or if its 100% compatible.

use your usdm wiring on the jdm engine, if you use the jdm harness you will have to extend it because its for right hand drive

There's no such thing as a "13B TT".

There's the 13B-REW, which is the same engine as US except for the downpipe, and the 13B-RE, which was the twin turbo used in the Cosmo luxury car, which is not a direct swap but can be done.

13B-RE engines tend to be a LOT cheaper than 13B-REW.

I personally would assume that any purchased engine has a hacked wiring harness and a lot of broken sensors/modules so anything you'd get would be an engine block with extra stuff attached. I've even heard of broken intake manifolds before.
