what do i need to do to swap a jap 13bTT into a 94 rx7
I can get a jdm 13b TT for my 94 Rx7 what would i have to do to do the swap. i can't seem to find an american version engine. please help. please give details
does anyone know if the wiring harness is the same as the US? i might be buying a rolling shell and probally buying a JDM 13B TT, wondering what exactly has to be done or if its 100% compatible.
There's no such thing as a "13B TT".
There's the 13B-REW, which is the same engine as US except for the downpipe, and the 13B-RE, which was the twin turbo used in the Cosmo luxury car, which is not a direct swap but can be done.
13B-RE engines tend to be a LOT cheaper than 13B-REW.
I personally would assume that any purchased engine has a hacked wiring harness and a lot of broken sensors/modules so anything you'd get would be an engine block with extra stuff attached. I've even heard of broken intake manifolds before.
