I am going to run a super high flow cat so not gonna debate to not run one....curious what flow th3 best and hold up better to heat. Ceramic or Steel mesh. Looking for 400 to 600 rating at 2.5 inch as running high boost GT35r turbo. I believe Magna flow, Random Technology or High performance company like Eastern Catalytic.

Rockwool aka SS mesh, cannot handle pressure, nor temperature of a rotary engine.

Ceramic or more exotic metals can.

Hey THANK YOU for your reply. So Ceramic it is...what company are most people using and should be a 400 or 600 flow rating I assume??? I remember back in the day Random Technology was popular and any other major players that are good and reasonable.

I run a Vibrant HO GESI Racing cat in 4inch. It was not cheap but it took the smell away and didn't cause a drop in boost.

Do you expect a 3" vibrant cat would lower boost?
