Anybody know the actual weights of the mild steel and stainless steel DP? I have the mild steel ceramic coated one now, but in my **** thinking of losing weight (almost bought a CF drive shadt for $900 to save 1.5 lbs) beside me going to the gym I was thinking of getting a stainless and coating it. Anybody know? I've almost talked myself out of it if its less than 5 lbs.

This isn't the right place to bring it up, but... I meant no disrepect to you about the SCC letter response thing, I just thought it was based on a misunderstaning and was being blown out of proportion. You've been around a while and always been a respectable member of the community in my book.

I weighed my early SS downpipe from RP and it weighed 8 lbs. I heard the MS version weighs 11 lbs.

To be honest Max, I can't remember who posted what in that thread, but thanks for the kind words in this post. Larry and I have actually talked on the phone now and it seems it what a misunderstanding. After talking to him, they knew I was semi-joking in regards to the bathroom comments, and it seems they were joking as well in their comments, it just didn't come off that way. Thanks again though.


As far as weights of the DP are concerned, is the RP DP a version of the old Mindtrain with the sort of crunched top? I can't remember now who is selling the old mindtrain design now or if anyone is. I doubt 3 pounds will be be worth the $300 plus for it, but thanks for the information, saved me some money
