Question Venting to Atmosphere with Aftermarket BOV

I recently purchased a turbo rfl bov, it is currently hooked up where the old bov was. I was going to vent my stock bov but I got the aftermarket one for a little over $100. When I was searching about venting the stock one, you could remove the pipe on the right side of the airbox and just plug the nipple. Am I still able to do this with an aftermarket bov? The pipe on the left side from bov to airbox is removed and closed. That was the way I saw in a picture on one of turbo xs posts. So my question is do I remove the entire tube on the right side and plug it as it is done on "venting to the atmosphere" on an aftermarket bov? Please let me know thank you.
