I suppose the only question I really need answered is where to start. . . .

All vacumn lines were replaced with high quality silicon lines about 4k ago. . .As far as mods. . I have a 3" downpipe and a racing beat cat back. . . cat is gone soon. .

My Problems. . . .

I seem to only get full boost at night when it is cold out. Anytime during the day. . pretty much when the sun is out. . If I get her going in 1st and slap her to second. . .zero. . .nothing. . no boost. . generally no boost until 3rd or 4th gear after that. . .

My primary (small) turbo is spooling just fine. . but for some reason the larger turbo is not engaging and I can only assume its something with a vacumn leak. . .

Either that or a wastegate accuator???

The only reason I dont think its a wastegate is because it works at night. . but when **** warms up "real" hot it will stop boosting at night as well.

I tested it last night from a light and it for sure got the secondary going through all gears but it seems like it would be a smooth transition between the two stages of the sequence. . there is a small gap it seems like for the secondary to kick in. . and then when it does it sort of feels like its pulsing. . again. . making me think that there is some other sort of vacumn leak. . .

Anyone got a clue? I have only owned a FD for a month now. . I bought it knowing I was going to pull the motor. . go street port this winter. . .but I would like to have a lil fun with her this year because nothing else is wrong with her. .
