Upgrades?????

I just bought my RX-7 13bt and have about $2000 left over for upgrades. I was thinking since the motor is known to over heat to get a radiator and intercooler upgrade along with boost controler, FCD, and maybe a BOV. I want to make about 300-350hp. Would that be reasonable if I add another thousand and got exhaust, down pipe, and intake.

Any other suggestions on the first upgrades I should do to my car. It is a daily driver but I am thinking of making it a drift car.

Thank you

Just the intercooler kit and radiator are going to eat the whole $2K. I recommend that you just replace items as they wear out, as a decent budget race setup is going to cost about $10K when all is said and done. Also, the TurboII has more than enough power for drifting as-is. After fixing any current problem areas on your car, you will probably want to spend your money on suspension and tires.

RETed made a nice upgrade tree for the TurboII, but the web site is down right now for some reason. Here is the link in case the web site starts working again:

For 10g I could make it a ten second car. I only want 300-350hp for occasional drag racing just enough to put me into 12-13's. Greddy intercooler is $1000 and a koyo radiator is $350. with the other $650 should I get boost controller, turbo timer, and FCD. I have heard about HKS f-con does anyone have it in their car, should this be a beginning upgrade or when the car has evolved.
