unorthodox lightened pulleys any HP?

I am thinking about buying a set of unorthodox, lightened accessory pulleys (ps,wp,alt) is there any HP gain from these. There site shows a total weight reduction of 7.1 oz for all three pulleys for the FD I just dont know if its worth it? I allready have a Pettit underdrive pulley so adding the lighter pulleys might gain some HP.

Yea they will free up some H.P.
On my car the Main drive pulley added 12 H.P.
The whole pulley set it worth about 20 H.P.

damn, not bad at all. Shouldn't you rev quicker and higher too? Or is that with just the lightened flywheel

Rev quiker, but not necessarily higher (thats when need to mod the water pump speed with underdrive pulleys).

The flywheel would be responsible for the increase in throttle response. The pulleys will help to reduce weight and to run the accesories at a slower rate....resulting in less power robbing accesories that your car has to power up.

The only problem you may have with underdrive pulleys is running a little hotter in traffic if your cooling system isn't up to par.
