Twin scroll keep or toss? & timing?

Doing a rebuild on my 87 TII and in the process discovered that the exhaust manifold was cracked. I had repaired it once before and it cracked again in the same spot so I sucked it up and bought a new one. Question is should I reuse the twin scroll doohickey or remove it now while it is out? Other mods include FCD, home made air filter and TID, throttle body junk removed, no emissions, lightly ported motor, 3" down pipe and no cats.

Secondly, what timing would you suggest with the above mods?
