i guess thats why half bridges are better. give the side seal a place to roll/slide over without getting eaten by the port.

lol. no! it will work yea...prob should have tried a bridge. I dont have enough material left now...i was thinking aobut converting it. Judge Ito says that type of port will work if the closing edge is rounded enough so im going to change it and try it again.

you could use the template for a half bridge and leave off the brow. i know a few people do that. if you go that far i dont know why you wouldnt go with the brow.

i dont know much about bridge ports, have a pic? When u say half u mean half way up the side of one port or putting a bridge on just the secondary port side...?

no it means you just port half of the engines ports, so you would leave the secondaries alone. Although i dont believe that is a half bridge ports purpose (to prevent side seal failure) its actually so you can use 2 or 3 piece seals instead of one piece seals required in a full bridge.

I think on most half bridge's you usually street port the secondaries still.
