Troubleshooting?

Guys, I just wanted to know what would cause a stationary gear to break? Keep in mind that I have hardened stationary gears.

I don't know, maybe prolonged 9k+rpm engine operation? Heavy load and high RPM? Bent E-shaft?
What were you doing when it happened?

I've NEVER taken my turbo motor passed 7500. It didnt happen immediately, when I came back to the garage and was free reving to about 5k it started to make a clanking sound in the rear rotor. Pulled the tranny, the input shaft was slightly warped. Any ideas?

Vibration from the input shaft maybe. If the motor was a rebuild and the rotating assembly was not balanced and had rotors from a different engine that may have caused it.

miss a shift? oil system problems? rotor gear came out? if it never went past 7500 it shouldn't have had a problem even with the stock gears
