timing on s4 tii

Im using a megasquirt engine mangment system to run my s4 TII. i was wonering if you guys could look at the timing map and see if its on the right track.
First off its a stock port s4 TII motor
3" exhaust & intake
550/880 injectors
stock turbo
ive noticed at about 2,500rpms to 3,000rpms im getting close to 1,400F (located on my downpipe right behind stock o2 location).

this looks WAAYYY too aggressive to me... if i could figure out how to post a screen shot like that i'd show you one I used to tune a buddies t2... but ideally you want your advance curve to be smooth... your's has some random numbers jumping around in there which could lead to missing or spark break-up. Those numbers look more like something you'd see in an n/a map.... use the tunning table under the "tunning" drop down menu... go to spark table 1 and then use Q to advance a quadrant and W to retarded it. try to make your advance curve smooth and follow your boost curve... I also think it's alot safer to run 10 degrees of split tthrough all rpms... also you need to raise your KPA on your split map..it's dropping out at 110 kpa.... hope that helps.

in my opinion it should be no more than 17 degrees at any point under boost.... I'd start at your highest rpm and kpa and set that to 10 degrees advance and then build the map down from there.... adding a little more advance as you go down in revs and kpa.... but like i sad before it should be a smooth transition.... no more than 1or 2 degrees difference between adjacent quadrants.... try it out... this should help.... if not, then try emailing me your msq and i'll take a look at it... hot_bartender1109@yahoo.com

I've gotten a few requests very recently to have a peek at some of this stuff. I think I'm going to make you guys some leading and trail-split tables that'll hopefully help out some. I am assuming that the values I see on the positive end are BTDC, and those that are negative are ATDC. I'm also assuming that there's nothing else that will automatically add or subtract degrees of advance with the exception of water and/or air temp corrections.
