Ive been looking through numerous old threads trying to work out what is better Doweling or stud kits, All I can really find is peoples opinions not actual facts so I am starting this thread to try and find the facts to try and find out what is less likely to crack or move.
So If you have photos (not opinions) of failed plates housings when using Dowels or a Stud kit please post them so we can actually find out the facts,

So far I have found one photo on the site of a cracked rear plate which appears to have had four studs fitted and has cracked through all four, Not a good start for Studs however its only had four studs fitted and not the whole lot so may be due to a torque different s or may not have happened if the whole lot had have been studed
