straight pipe for 1985 RX7

I am not that knowledgeable of rotary engines and was wondering if headers with a straight pipe 2 1/4" - 2 1/2" will do damage to my engine or not? Any advice?

No damage to your engine. Only your ears. It will be ungodly loud. You need to have some type of muffler.
