Someone Take Over my Project...

Ive been trying to build a drag car for the last year and a half and im getting nowhere. Someone needs to take over my project. I have a 1989 Turbo II (white) It has a 8 point roll bar but needs a chassis to fit the stuff it comes with. There are no windows but I hope you would use lexan anyways. No front bumper either I would hope that you would put a nice one on there. The doors are gutted to save weight. Im selling the car with the following parts

- Stock Body with 8 Point Roll Bar
- Mazda Trix Wing
- Applied Racing Technology 4 Link suspension and Rod Ends
- Applied Racing diaganol Link
- Afco Double Adjustable Coilover shocks with 110 # springs
- Weld Prostars 15x12
- Micky Thompson 29.5 X 13.5 X15 ET DRAG tires

Selling the Car shell and all the parts for $4000. The body is in good shape. It jsut needs to be finished. I have plenty of pics of the car and all the parts.

Greg, put the car in storage and finish it when you have the time.
i'd love to buy that car from you, but if i did i'd feel bad for you loosing it, and i'd have to watch my back to make sure you dont try to atack me every time i take it to the track.

KEEP THE CAR!!!!

yeah Greg, keep tha car ,put it away for a while . it seems like you got most of the expensive stuff out of the way. it has taken me over two years to get mine on the track and it is well worth it!! what you should do is just back off of the expensive stuff ie...clutchless tranny, three rotor ETC ETC. ask your self if you have the resources to actually run the entire year in ANY of the sanctions. if the answer is not than dont attempt to run with the big boys until you are ready. i got into the nines with only 500 h.p. and you know you can make that much if not more easily! is the rear end already in the car? cage? what inspired me the most to finish it is i had it painted where at least it looks good sitting there in the shop!! i have a good hook up on auto trannies and convertors as well as what you need to do for the adapter plate. you already know the hell i have been through getting all of that **** straight!

hang in there

As far as the tranny goes, I already have $3200 down on the gf2000.Its comming up with the other $3500 that sux. I got fired lately and money is hard to get ahold of. I still have a good $20k to put into the car. Thank God the body is in good shape. Thanks for the support. Maybe wintertime I can get it done.

Ok, so yours will be here soon... but aren't you trying to (or did you already) sell your tranny? Don't you have a fresh engine in there? Won't the engine need to be tuned? Dont you have some whack ECU that can only be tuned by outerspace aliens and ghostrider

(said in jest, duh!!! )

actually, vosko the starter bolts onto the bell housing, thats all you need, not a tranny.
havent you ever started a motor on your garage floor with just a bellhousing and starter bolted up to it?
