Slightly bad housings.
I just lost my motor to Haynes coolant seals. w/e no biggie, looks like the housings survived the heat and did not warp, but seems like dirt or something got in the motor and theres like a ripple effect (very very slight) on the inside on the housings. Is it possible to turn or lap the inside or should I look for new housings? (new or used )

You cannot lap the housing, that will cause the housing to have excessive clearance for the rotors. There is a thread talking about coating the housing which would add material to the surface, jury is still out on that one.
The ripple effect is normal wear, the only way to know if it can be re-used is to check all the tolerances by the manual.

It sounds like your describing chatter marks. I'd get another one if it were me. Your not going to know how well it will work till you fire up the engine.....thats a pretty sucky time to realize its not working. I'd just get something else while the engine is apart.
