Shootout; Custom Manifold Types

after a breif discussion with Pengaru; I've come up with the question...

What's better? A single large-throttle'd manifold? Or an independant throttlebody setup with a common plenium?

Supposing that the runners into the plenium on the single-tb setup are flared as airhorns, and that all other things are equal.

It seems to me that a single, large tb would be better, due to ease of hooking up throttle inkage (vs. 4 motorcycle tb's). Also, with there only being 1 major airflow disturbance (vs. the 4 from an itb setup, in the straightest part of the manifold).

Is there another side of this I'm not seeing?

Pro's and Con's of each setup; for you guys who know these kind of things.

Speaking, very generally, and assuming each system is properly set-up: Single TB setups tend to have better drivability (easier to modulate flow down low), but individual setups tend to have more top-end. Individual setups also change the plenum rules a bit, too. (for the better)

EDIT: Oh yeah, individuals also tend to feel more "peppy" and with bad modulation down low, but using roller barrel type TB's reduces this alot. It improves the modulation, I mean.
