H2o injection question

I picked up an Aquamist water injection system but have yet to install it. I was just thinking, since the water "steam cleans" the inside of the engine and keeps carbon buildup to a minimum would it also clean off the necessary oil for lubrication?

Hey Heath,

I bought the same aquamist unit as you. Let me know how the install and tuning is going. Maybe we can exchange notes.

steam can not disolve oil so I would ahve to say no. Put a pan on the stove heat it up poar some oil on swirl it around so it covers the surface of the pan. Then turn on your foset and put the pan under the stream. Now taking in to account that the stream of water will have much more force to force the oil off the pan rather then steam of which there wont be that much anyway, feel the pan after, it will still be oily.
