Save my ambition!!

Hey everyone, I have a lack of knowledge.. I'm still new to the rx-7 world. I want to get exhuast, probably Greddy Evo. But my concern is, do i need to reflash my ecu if i do this, or since it's the beginning of all my mods shall i get a stand alone? I can get my hands on a peter ferrel system for 550 from a good friend. Should i do that? Cause i heard that the pfs is not good with bigg turbo kits. My main concern with the stand alone is, how hard it might be to tune. Please throw all your smartness at me people, i would appreciate it. I want to stay motivated to work on my rx-7, since i got lucky and have extremely low miles in my humble opinion.
