what i am looking for is someone who has experience to help me built a engine running fully on alcohol/methanol
stuff i would need to know : what kind of turbo? , A/R`s, injectors , what A/F ratio to run at , what port works best
Looking for max power of course

Will work for horsepower
I dont think turbo specs are any diff. than any other. The things i know about are premix has to be meth specific. It requires a little more than twice the injector flow, keeping fuel system clean and crud free is a pain. A/f is diffrent ratio for meth and timing can be more aggresive. You need to find someone with more experence than me thats for sure! There are good benifits to meth on the track but at about 4 gals per run you dont want to go to far! Find a good builder and tunner before you go to far.

I had some experience with it a few years ago, as I was race crew for a somewhat know drag car. I do know that when you run methanol/alcohol, you need roughly twice the amount of fuel entering the combustion chamber than you do with gasoline. You also have to change out your fuel system to parts that are meant to run methanol for corrosion reasons. Meth has a higher detonation threshold, but is $$$$. Going back to your orginal question, you don't need to run an intercooler for drag racing in certain circumstances (as you've seen some of the very fast cars don't), but for anything else, it's a must. The 7 and 8 second cars don't use them, either because they run Nitrous and the intake temps are very low anyway, or they run meth, and by the time the intercooler gets enough air flow and becomes efficient, the race is over anyhow, and all the intercooler does is present a further obstruction of airflow in the intake path.
