Rotary Aviation seals???

I was thinking about buying the master rebuild kit fom Rotary Aviation for my 87 TII. Just wanted to know if anyone has any opinions on it? Are the apex seals good? Did anyone use this rebuild kit on their car? let me know thanks

Lots of debate already on this - use search to find a couple of good threads from a year or two ago......

The RA kit is good. I gives you really strong apex seals and teflon encapsulated inner coolant seals. If you go with the RA kit, make sure you re-use or by new apex seal springs as the RA springs are not heat threaded and can flatten giving you compression problems. There are guys who use the kit with a lot of success. I have their apex seals in my NA Fc right now with about 200 miles on them. I got a long way to go break them in to my used housings. The engine already is pretty strong and cranks right up so I have high hopes.
