Rifling IC/Airfilter piping?

As i was walking home from the gym, I had an idea. If gun companies rifle their barrels to produce more speed in the bullet, is it possible or ever been tried to rifle the IC piping to help the air 'spin' as it goes through the piping?

I don't think they rifle barrels to increase the speed but rather to stabilize the bullet after it leaves the barrel.

Exactly, rifling creates a spin on the bullet, similar to a football being thrown to make it more accurate/stable.

And they've already made such a thing, it's called a Vortex Cyclone POWER Booster FUEL Saver Gasoline Diesel and it does absolutely nothing for power or fuel economy, plain and simple.
