Thumbs up Reactive Racing goes 9's Turbo only at IDRC East Coast Nationals!

Things went very well today. Demetrios was the #2 Qualifier today with a 9.84 @ 141mph.....(finishing 3rd in the Quick class) I thought this pass was on the bottle, but actually IDRC wouldn't allow Demetrios to use the bottle due to not having a dump tube. SO when we spray her she's gonna fly!!Sad news is his clutch started to slip after this pass. Usually cutting mid 1.3 60' times were slowed drastically to 1.9's. New clutch goes in this week and back to the track this weekend for both of us.....I'll be looking to finally go 10's as Demetrios will look to plunge deep into the low 9's.

The street class was interesting as well. Paul E. (Supra w/ Y2K) went back to back 8.85's, but blew a motor in the Quick 8. Ari Yallon went a personal best of a 9.40, but broke at the line in the semi's against John Sheppard. Ray Wilson wasn't his consistant self posting a 10.4 and a 10.6 pass respectively, still making the quick 8.

Actually if you are refering to the srmotorsports turbos I would definetly give them the big thumbs up as this was the main reason I was able to dip into the nines with such little effort.

Thanks for the props ernie I could not have gotten the car ready in time if it wasn't for ernie ***** and joe. I think I had the best crew there even if we didn't all have fancy matching shirts

I think that Ari's always had the power to run in the 9's, it's been driveline issues with the rear which have been holding him back. I'm assuming he doesn't have the three rotor in yet? It's GREAT to see more than one rx7 running in the 9's. Congrats Demetrios!

Ari was here in colorado sept 22 for the mile high nationals! He is NOT running a 20b, but what ever he has done to his car worked! running his first ever 9.80 @ Bandimere.

Karl martin was running 10.04. and pepe loco was rippen of 8.70's @ over 5,200 feet of elevation

Congrats Demetrios!! sounds like your car is running good! how much boost were you running?

Hey Ernie,
Just out of curiosity, I was told that Demetrios was running a 50shot on that 9.83 pass and then went to Ari to borrow the 75 shot jets. Did I hear this wrong or not? If he wasn't running n2o, why did he asked for the 75 shot jets?
last time I checked, Ari was running 2 direct port 50shot so is that alot?

No, Actually Ari was the one that borrowed a 125 jet....and I would consider that to be "alot".....

Thanks Pluto

When I made the 9.8 pass I did not have the NOS turned on. Yes it is true Ari and I did a exchang of pills because I wanted to back my 9.4 up that I ran in test and tune the week before with a 75 shot but left all my small pills at home along with spark plugs that I bought from Ari thank god he brought extra. It was really good to see all the sevens doing so well it has been a while since I have raced competitively so I was really pleased to be part of the event.

I will say how much boost I was running but everyone will call me a liar. They will say it is impossible to run what I ran with my current boost setting without NOS. So as long as everyone promises not to call me a liar I will tell

Demetrios
