Thumbs up Reactive Racing 9.2 @ 153mph at Battle of the Imports!!

Hey guys, just got back from the race. First time out and we did pretty well. Finished 2nd place, but with the fastest et of the day. In the finals Demetrios ran a 9.2 @ 153mph setting the record for an RX7 for the pro-import class at the Battle of the Imports. All this was accomplished without N20 and running C16 turbo only. Although he had the faster et in the finals, he had problems getting off the line with the anti-lag and lost to a slower 9.45 run. All in all it was a good day and look foward to the next race.

Great Job guys! Very impressive!

All that hard work is really paying off!

Man, the NE is a nice place to be with a rotary, you've got low 9 sec full chassis Fd's, you've got many 10sec fd's that drive to the track and back home, you've got street driven 9sec fds, you've got a 10sec stock twin turbo Fd....., you've got guys at the track that run Haltech, microtech, tecIII, power fc, wolf 3d etc....

Just a nice combination of hardcore rotary guys!

Again, keep up the great work and look forward to the 8s!

Anthony

That is an amazing time. What is "anti-lag" you refer too. How in the hell does anybody cut a 1.3 60'?

Anti Lag is otherwise known as a 2 Step.

Aww, and here I was hoping that someone had figured out WRC-style anti-lag for rotaries.

... er... unless I'm getting confused. Two step is just RPM activated spark cut right, whereas the WRC-style antilag delays the spark until the exhaust is open?

Anti-lag my fellow rotor heads IS NOT the same as a two step. A two step limits rpm.

He is using an actual anti-lag which produces about 15lbs of boost on the line.

Yeah most aftermarket ECUs will do antilag now.. They do it by retarding the **** out of the timing and dumping in fuel..

Not quite the same as WRC antilag but it still gives you boost at launch.

Nice. Is he using a sequential type transmission or OEM?
