Yeah, not bad at all for only 455whp

Can't wait for your next tune

You normally see a 30mph gain between the 1/8th and 1/4?

it's different from car to car. it's usually anywhere from 25-40mph. Those supras gain 35mph in the last 1/8.

Looks like a low 10 sec pass is easily obtainable.. Hey Steve how come you set the limiter to only 8k.. did it stop making power or does it pull all the way up to 9k...

hp doesn't hold much soon after 6.5krpm. I think by stretching out the rpm a little, he wouldn't have hit the rev limiter as much.

Yeah, I shifted way too soon from 1-2 and bogged it badly then the next two shifts, bounced it off the limiter. Limiter was set at 8100. I suck.

At least you didn't miss 3rd and slap it into 5th. I've done that a few times. That really hurts the time.

Good numbers, I wish my 60 foot time was close to that.

Nice run bro... the mph looks good for letting out of it on the big end. If you ran a 10 on your first pass with the new mods you should be happy considering all the problems. Once you get the belts recertified you will be good to go.

To run a low 10 you need to powershift like a **** with a mid 130mph trap. 137mph is needed with an automatic to run a 9.99 and killer 1.4x 60ft. Manual transmission needs a bit more mph to run that number....

I think you have quite a bit left in the 60'. What rpm did you leave at?

I would be shooting for some low 1.4x's with that 4 link'd 8.8" rear end out back.

I hope to finally make a pass on the strip on 9/10 and put some times in my sig. Hoping for something very close to what you just achieved. n/a

I left between 7800-8000. I've got some things to work out, my front sits way too low and my back sits to low also "Not much room to squat with the 8.8 rear end". We need to make a few adjustments. You'll see when I post my video, the car doesn't squat at all.

Nice run Lupe! Glad to see that the number arguing bullshit from the single turbo forum is now backed up by a good run. Congrats on that bro.

Steve Kan, looks like another tuning success for you as well. I'll be looking forward to one of your San Fran, CA visits next year.

Video of my run

Yes, I know that I can't drive. Lifting on the big end didn't help either

thats about right

455hp with a 2800 pound car = 10.7 so I think the dyno is really near to what your car is

but congrats on busting into the 10's great work. cant wait till you turn up the boost

time to get a bigger spring for your wastegate!

533 with a 2800 pound car sould be 10.1

outstanding! great job tuning the car steve

For starters, his car weights quite a bit less than 2800 pounds from what i've read. He has also stated/showed it wasn't his best run. I'm sure the car has quite a bit more in it. If he hadn't of gotten thrown out, he probably would have gotten some better runs in.

TT Rex the avarage FD curb weight is around 2800
then add a driver that around 2950 - 3000 pounds add a full tank of gas.. around 90 more pounds

so we looking at around 3100 pounds.

now less say he gutted the car. lets take out 200 pounds. thats still 2900 with driver. so I gave benifit of the of around a 1/4 tank of gas so lets round it down to about 2800 pounds.

if its less than 2800 with driver thats a great job loosing stuff on the car.

if he would like to post a weight of the car. they have them 95% of the time where you pick up your time slip and some times even at tech area they check the wieght of the car.

I know when I make my 1st pass I always stop at the scale on the way back to check what my car weight was that day at the track and keep a log of it for later use.

anyway Im glad to hear his making good power and pulling good times with the car.
I also will be using a PFC on FD. I wish I could use on my Cosmo too
