Short answer is that this is not an easy or inexpensive swap. It is not a strait up bolt in and the ECU will not work along with a small truckload of other headaches. Plan on a Haltech ($1200) or similar unit just for starters on this. If you don't know how to fabricate adapting the mounts and have to have any shop work done you will be out even more money.
In the end you end up with a 2nd gen that may be quick but it sure took a lot to get there.
You could put this motor in just about any rear wheel drive car out there just about as easily. That being the case I would rather do something like that in an MG Midget so that all your work and effort will be more appreciated once you have the project finished.

Thax for the info. Acturlly, i m trying to fully swap everything into 88, and then modify later. cuz i want to see what i really need for my driving habit.

I m going to spend atleast 8000 on it.... raceport motor and single turbo as a basic.

When do the swap, do i have to modify the engine mount, do i have to use different tranny and differential ? And i know i have to change all the electric parts..... thax guys

8,000$ will barely get you a raceport, a single turbo kit, and the ECU you need to control it. If you cant fabricate the engine mounts yourself, plan on spending your 8,000$ just to get the engine and the ECU and fuel needed to run it, then if you want single turbo, look at spending another 8,000$ for all the supporting mods. By the time you get done, you could have just bought a 3rd gen.
