Question

Has a twin scroll turbo set up ever been developed for the 13B motor?

Would it even be possible?

Not exactly sure what you need a link for. Every 87-88 turbo rx-7 had a twin scroll turbocharger. Anything specific you need to know?

Aren't Series 5 twin scroll as well?

The Series 4 had an additional complication, they blocked off one of the scrolls at low RPM for faster spoolup. The 13BT *is* a luxury-car engine, after all.

Ahh..that's why I need a link. I don't much about that model years turbo set up.

I was just podering why Mazda stuck with the twin turbo set up witht he 3RD generation, instead of moving to a more efficieant twin scroller if they had the option.

Almost everybody will agree with you that the FD twins were a mazda mistake.

Peejay: S5's were not twin scroll.
