Ok guys, i got a 13bre with 5k miles to put in my fd, im porting it nice got a gt42r ect. I got the fd oilpan if i run a microtech do i need to change the front cover with fd front cover?

 

There is someone on here from FL with a RE or I believe parts of a RE in his FD. I believe the whole RE wouldn't fit so he had to mix alot of FD parts, i.e. use RE housings but FD intake but I could be wrong. Wish I could remember his sign-on..

 

rx7tt95 has the entire 13b-re in his.

 

hey, i think you are wondering about the knock sensors being different. did your re come with the wire harness, my re wire harness is cut but still had most of the sensors and plugs. if you do have the knock sensor on the re then you wouldnt need to change the front cover.
