Pictures of my first port job.

Here are few pics of my first port job. Center iron is opened up to match RE manifold. Please feel free to give me your thoughts.

Shows a comparision between mine, BDC, and stock ports. After getting into this and learning a little, it allows me to really appreciate Brians port work.

So, you're using the REW block, RE Lower Intake and REW Upper Intake ?

I like the runner size being equal on all 4 rather than the small center rew ones. So this should flow more air and make some gains.. .... I have also (as Zero suggested) opened up the plenum and removed the plate so all runners are open. Other nice thing was being able to polish runners all the way from top to bottom. All are now port matched. I guess I will see if this was all worth it..

Yeah Charles, I am going to give it a shot this time. I have picked up all the needed tools to clerance and spec all.. Just have to decide on the seals I want to run and go pick up my center section from balancing to begin..

if you search for judge ito he has it all layed out with pictures

if you bevel the upper part of the inside port ,it will be slightly easier on the side seals

Thats what I thought you were referring too. I have all those pics (on Itos port work) saved on my pc. I was 50/50 on the bevel thing. Some engine builders believe in it and some do not. I am at 11mm and I do want to take anymore off on that side now.

Yeah.. Thanks for the tip.. Now I need to decide if to use the fd TB or what other opyions are out there. Not loking to make more than 600rwhp. Is the stock TB good enough?

Also still have not decided on what seals. OEM 2 piece, ALS, RA supers, or ??

We've gotten over 800whp out of the REW TB. As for seals everyone will tell you run theirs. I have tried PTS and SCR's I like the SCR's so far. I try and keep a few sets in stock. ALS I haven't ran yet. I just know the SCR's have worked exactly as promised.

The most appealing about the ALS, is the price $400 a set. That's why everyone wants to know about them. That, and not worrying about a seal breaking and taking out the motor/turbo.

The PTS and SCR break, correct ?

SCR's don't break either and I let them go for $575 I know the SCR's have been in road race cars that was my main reason for choosing them.
