Looks like the first throttle body opens and you get the primaries, then the second throttle body opens and you get the other four ports. I was under the impression it would be three stages, not two. I don't see any actuators attached to 5 and 6, am I missing something here or was I just misinformed?

Judge Ito,
When you saw those exhaust ports, did the intermediate housing have a common chamber or were the two rotors seperated? And were the rotors notched the entire length of the rotor or just on the leading side?
Yes it has a common chamber on the center side housing. No separation. notched just on the leading side. I repeat the 5 and 6 ports were huge. Ill give an example. The 3rd an 4th ports are the size of a quater and the 5 and 6 ports are the size of a 1/2 dollar.

um yeah, if there is no seperate actuation for the 5th and 6th port, its pretty pointless, if that was the case, I would imagine they would have designed it with just a very large secondary port rather that secondary and tertiary ports.

and they must be seperate, otherwise it wouldnt be three stage would it?
Ok, so where are the actuators then?

If you take a look at the picture, theres one actuator in the back of the intake manifold close to the water pump housing(front actuator) if you look even closer ,really close you barely could see it. But there is one infront of the intake manifold for the rear actuator. Looks like one is in the traditional location and the other has been moved.
