One piece dowels
One piece dowels
I’ve been debating if I want to get the pineapple racing engine dowels. Solid lower and drilled upper. I know this is for a higher horse power applications but would it be a waste on a stock vehicle? At $120 it wouldn’t be a big waste.
I do want to mod it in the future but it will be on stock internals with RA super seals. I’ve tried searching but couldn’t find anything for stock engines.

Sure as hell wouldn't hurt. They're not 'only' for high horsepower engines either. The main thing they do is prevent the block from warping, this can be caused by either high boost or detonation. Either way, if the block warps and the rotors hit the housings, the resulting energy gets transfered to the endplates and can easily crack them.
In your current situation you could see them as a safeguard against detonation if / when it occurs, and in the future you'll have them already there to allow for more boost.
Mind you, a complete stud kit along with those dowels is often advised, and all above information is on a as-i-understood-it basis 😅

Why are you planning on those seals for a stockish build? They are known to eat housings even with lots of premix. My RA classics ate my housings with a quickness because I didn’t premix enough. The Supers are worse. Just an FYI
I’ve lost 2 engines from apex seals. First one just went for an unknown reason. Lost a small chip on the point. Destroyed the housing and rotor. Second one was lost from predetionation. Yes it was my fault it got to that point but I learned a lesson that day. I figure I’ll sacrifice having housing that last 100k miles for not blowing an apex seal
