Oil leak on a fresh rebuild

I just started up my first rebuild. It's a 12A stock port with all used parts except a gasket kit and seals and springs.

Everything is good, the engine is running well, but a light mist of oil is getting sprayed over the whole engine as it runs. It ran for about 3 hours and consumed less than a quart of oil.

The fan blades are dry, but much of the oil is collecting in a line just behind the fan (on the rad. hoses, motor mount bracket, front of distributor). The oil cooler lines don't look like the problem, and I can't see any oil coming out behind the main pulley.

Any ideas where to look? If the front main seal is leaking, would the oil come out behind the pulley or around the pulley bolt?

If it's the front main, does the engine have to come out to replace it?

Thanks
