oil cooler with fan?
oil cooler with fan?
I see some people use the fan and some dont are there any gains or is it just a waist of $? also are there any gains to just upgrading to a larger oil cooler?
Thanks
Thanks
ok, just want to get one thing strait Im looking to cool oil not gain power. In my search Iv found heat exchangers and some nice air to oil coolers with or with out fans. I dont think I need something extrem as a heat exchanger but a little more than stock would be nice. Fluidyne makes some pretty good stuff from what I seen but alot of $ so has anyone got a better bang for the buck deal?
dude you dont need any fans just this kit at crooked willow..... our engines are cooled 40% by oil not only water soo cooling oil is just as important as cooling water ....and air.....sooooo look into upgrading to a big single oil cooler or the dual oil cooler kit they carry...heres the link

Thanks man but I think Im going to make my own, all the kits out there now are just to much $ for oil coolers.
Now that I know our engines are cooled 40% by oil Ill be sure to get those oil temps as low as possible.
