Damn Ito brought back the old days. Those were the days of Mikey Mazda, Shorty Mazda and Venolia. Whoa from reading this brought me back to my younging years of wanting a rotary so bad!

Ito, when that RX3 went in the low 9s how much of a shot were you guys using and were you using c16 type fuel or alcohol?

i live here in las vegas now but got the racing bug back in the day like 16 yrs ago when they had the illegals back in brooklyn, it was close to the beltway,i remeber dozen of rotary cars racing against anything outhere ,.it got so packed people got on top of small trees to see a pass, it was a great hangout for me and my friends, and most of the rotary cars where owned by boricuas and were very carefull not to show what they had in the cars, great memories any one out there was there?

I dont know about 16 years ago (I was 7) but as recently as 5 years ago there was alot of racing here in brooklyn. Sure it was flooded with rice like everywhere else but there were the occasional fast cars. My boys tell me about hunts point in the early 90's and how rotaries ran the show. FLatlands&fountain has speed bumps on it now. Too many people hit the poles over there and got themselves killed, hopefully those rotary owners went on to race legally on a track.

If you go on streetfire.net and search for "hunts point" or tommy rx7" theres alot of good vid's of a tii kicking ***.
