Mike the most I've ever ran was a 150 shot on my old peripheral engine. I know for a fact that some people have ran upto a 200 shot for short periods. Rob at Pineapple said 150 is on the safer side, but the motor could hold more. CJ

How much nitrous can the stock seals handle without getting too brittle?

i have heard of people running 100-150 on stock seals but they were brand new stock seals, my freind blew his stock 12a seals on a 50 shot, but the car had like 70,000 on it

I know what nitrous does and I have used it in a variety of cars but what I'm trying to understand is do the seals just get brittle after a lot of mileage? I know the sudden change of temperature with nitrous puts some formula for disaster on the seals if abused but I am gonna experiment maybe. My FD only has 27k miles on the stock motor so I don't think there should be a problem with a 100 shot. I'll post up my outcome, unless I go single first .

Proper nitrous injection does not make your apex seals "brittle".
I have run upwards of staged 250hp shots on stock 2mm 3-piece and 2-piece apex seals without problem.

So just keep fuel in mind and I'll be fine? Because I plan on getting a wet kit, is there anything else I should do for the fuel maybe a FPR?
